Fate and destiny are two different aspects . We do not have control over destiny , that is i have no control where i am born ,etc but my fate is under my control. My life is all about getting hold of the opportunities which came my way or which i created with my hard work.
Finally you have come to the right conclusion that Fate is dependent on the Hard work .there is no substitute to hard work.
